Twenty years ago I played at Will Geer's Theatre in Topanga Canyon, California.
Somewhere in the audience was a young lady named Leslie. I did not meet her until she
contacted me through the Crosby, Stills, & Nash web page in July 1998. I, of course,
was surprised that she had remembered me after all those years. She told me about
her new CD, "Left of Memphis" and I asked her to send me a copy. Once the CD arrived, I
was simply amazed at how good it was. It's just plain good. I hope that whatever I
played to inspire Leslie so many years ago keeps her writing this great music with her
wonderful band....
